Puritán is a distinctive, natural white wine from Lenkey, crafted from aromatic native varieties like Muscat Ottonel, Zengő, Zenit, Cserszegi Fűszeres, and Zalagyöngye, once used for communal “workers wine’ during Furmint harvest, this blend now gets the full spotlight. Sourced from all 15 of Lenkey’s organic plots in Mád, the grapes undergo whole-bunch pressing and spontaneous fermentation on the lees for two years in stainless steel, without temperature control. This wine offers a complex profile with earthy, nutty flavors balanced by green apple, rosemary, dill, and sweet spice. Unfiltered and unfined, it’s a true expression of the land, vibrant and full of character.
