WASSMANN

Wassmann winery, founded by Susann Hanauer and Ralf Wassmann, renowned winemakers in Hungary’s Villány region. Committed to sustainable biodynamic farming for over a decade, their 2-hectare vineyard, certified by Demeter, showcases their unwavering dedication to quality, resulting in every bottle offering a remarkable and unforgettable wine experience.

LENKEY

Géza, a renowned winemaker from the Tokaj-Hegyalja region, is celebrated for his dedication to preserving the unique character of the grapes. His bold, expressive wines and innovative aging techniques, applied not only to sweet Tokaji Aszú but also to dry Furmint and Hárslevelű wines, showcase his belief in the terroir-driven complexity of Tokaji wines that deserve time to fully flourish.

PAP

PAP Wines is an artisan winery founded by Áron Molnár and Karina Vissonova, driven by their passion for wine and a deep connection to nature. They produce a small selection of high-quality, low-intervention wines from their 3.8ha vineyards using biodynamic methods. Their vineyards on Mount St. George offer unique terroir characteristics. PAP’s wines are made with minimal intervention, contain very low to no sulfites or additives, and are matured in oak barrels on lees, remaining unfiltered at bottling. They exhibit subtle volcanic mineral and salinity notes, a signature of wines from Szent György-hegy.

SZIEGL

The Sziegl Cellar, established in 2012 by Petra and Balázs, began with a small plot of land gifted by elderly farmers in their village. They currently cultivate nearly 9 hectares of land using natural, intervention-free methods, prioritizing organic farming and allowing the grapes to reflect their terroir. Their main grape varieties are Kövidinka, Kadarka, Olaszrizling, and Kékfrankos, with smaller quantities of Hárslevelű, Traminer, and Riesling also produced.

LEVENTE

Levente, a passionate winemaker, has a profound connection to the land and grapes he cultivates, stemming from his upbringing in a family deeply involved in winemaking. Since acquiring his first vineyard in 2004, he has devoted himself to perfecting his craft and creating wines that authentically express the terroir of his estate, situated at the southern foot of the Mátra with a unique geological composition. Through his dedication to organic cultivation and minimal intervention, Levente produces exceptional wines that truly capture the essence of his vineyards.

TOMCSÁNYI

The Tomcsányi winery is a Budapest family’s inspiring journey into winemaking on Somló Hill, starting in 2010 when Árpád’s father purchased land. Despite their background in the arts, their affinity for winemaking grew after moving to Somló in 2014. They stand out for their commitment to natural winemaking, cultivating 2.5 hectares of vines organically, embracing local grape varieties, and creating labels that reflect their deep connection with the land and artistic background. Their story exemplifies how passion and nature appreciation can transform city dwellers into accomplished winemakers in Somló.

HOLLÓVÁR

Hollóvár Winery, founded by renowned winemaker Lajos Takács in 1997, is celebrated for its high-quality wine. Lajos returned to his hometown in Tokaj Hegyalja from Somló in 2014, and his wines.

JÁNOS NÉMETH

János Németh Winery, situated on the Iván-völgy hillside in Szekszárd, is a family-owned establishment with a rich four-generation history in winemaking. The iconic pressed-wall, thatched-roof press house, constructed by the great-grandparents, serves as the heart of their wine production. János Németh’s dedication to his homeland and its wines shines through in his flavorful creations, reflecting a deep connection to the Szekszárd countryside and its traditions.

PELLE

Pelle Winery, a family-run business established in 2007, specializes in crafting high-quality, organic wines from 13 parcels across seven vineyards with volcanic soil, imparting a distinctive flavor. They prioritize organic cultivation and manual labor to ensure the best grapes for their wines, dedicating a third of their production to sparkling wine in various styles, from dry whites to rich sweet wines, catering to diverse tastes.

SPIEGELBERG

Spiegelberg winery, founded by István Spiegelberg in 1993, is known for its world-class wine experience. Located in Somló since 2007, the winery exclusively processes self-grown, traditional grape varieties such as Hárslevelű, Jufark, and Furmint, with a focus on handpicked grapes aged in oak barrels to produce smooth and flavorful wines.

PÉTER VIDA

Péter Vida winery is situated on a 23-hectare estate in the unique Szekszárd wine region, known for its microclimates and loess soil. Their wines exhibit expressive, fruity-floral flavors, round acids, and tannins characteristic of loess wines. The winery prioritizes quality through vineyard replanting and utilizes Kadarka, Kékfrankos, and Bikavér grapes.

2HA Winery, founded by Csaba Török, offers a unique and delicious wine-drinking experience with an unorthodox approach to winemaking dating back to 2003. Located in the Badacsony region with south-facing vineyards and mineral-rich volcanic soil, the winery focuses on organic wine making and wood barrel aging, ensuring high-quality wines for both casual drinkers and connoisseurs.

PÁLFFY

Pálffy Winery is a certified organic, generational family business located on an 18-hectare area cultivating a variety of grape types on the southern slopes of Fekete mountain. Their strict selection process, volcanic soil, and commitment to natural farming result in unique, high-quality wines that reflect the essence of their vineyards.

PÉTER BAKONYI

Péter Bakonyi is a highly regarded underground winemaker in Villány, Hungary, known for his eccentric style and extensive grape knowledge. His handcrafted wines, made from the finest grapes grown in renowned vineyards, showcase his passion for quality winemaking and are available in prestigious vineyards like Pillangó, Makár, Mandolás, Hidegkút, Városhegy, and Zuhánya, all cultivated organically since 2007.
