PAP Rabbit's Foot 2021

Rabbit’s Foot is a playful and characterful blend that brings together the best of two vintages. The base is a 2021 mix of 70% Zweigelt and Cabernet Franc, aged 12 months in barrique, layered with 30% Pinot Gris from 2022, matured for 4 months in traditional Tokaji Gönci barrels used for Szamorodni.

The result is a juicy, vibrant red bursting with red berries, ripe cherries, and a touch of spice from its unique barrel aging. Smooth, charming, and a little different.

Tech Facts: Biodynamic viticulture. Hand-harvested. Cabernet Franc and Zweigelt (70%) is from the 2021 vintage and aged for 12 months in barrique barrels. The remaining 30% Pinot Gris is from the 2022 vintage, aged 4 months in Tokaji Gönci (barrels used for Szamorodni). Unfined, unfiltered. No added sulfites.

Terroir: eroded basalt and tuff integrated in Pannon loess, sand or clay
