Weingartner Bastard 2022

Bastard is a light-bodied volcanic red that’s juicy, fruity, and effortlessly cool. This vibrant blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Tramini bursts with redcurrant, cherry, and cranberry aromas, lifted by subtle spice and a hint of thyme. On the palate, it delivers bright red cherry, rosehip, strawberry, and a touch of rose pepper. Crisp acidity and smooth tannins keep it refreshing and easy to drink

Tech Facts: Biodynamic viticulture. Hand harvested. Pinot Noir macerated on skins for 2.5 days, Tramini and Pinot Gris for 2 weeks. 1/3 in oak barrels and 2/3 in breathable tanks for 8 month. Unfiltered, unfined. No added sulphites.

Terroir: eroded basalt and tuff integrated in Pannon loess, sand or clay
